We want you to feel welcome and comfortable during your first visit on Sunday, so we've answered a few questions you might have. Here's what you can expect on Sundays.

 What is the service like?

We hope you will find the service at St. P&P’s, as it is affectionately called, beautiful and poetic, liturgical and lovely. We worship in the stream and tradition of well-loved liturgies that draw us close to God, with engaging worship music and an emphasis on children feeling welcome.

 When should I arrive?

We gather on Sunday at 10:30 am.

 Where should I go?

Our Sunday Gathering is held at 152 Metcalfe St (click here for a map), just down the road from Parliament Hill.

 Where should I park?

There is a parking lot on Gloucester St (the church is on Metcalfe and Gloucester) that charges $3 for all day parking on Sundays. Just up the hill toward Parliament Hill is the World Exchange Plaza (111 Albert St) which offers free parking on Saturday and Sunday. The City of Ottawa offers free street parking and parking in city lots on weekends within the downtown core. For more information on parking options with the City of Ottawa please click here. If you are coming to St Peter and St Paul's for an evening service or event the City of Ottawa offers some free parking. Be sure to check signage and metres to find out how much parking costs. Parking is usually not an issue for people.

 What about my kids?

St P&P’s is a church for all ages. That is one of our strengths. Your children are welcome in the service, but will also be invited to a children’s moment down front, and then invited to Sunday School. They will join us again in the main service in time for communion, which is every week. There is a nursery available as well. You can click here for more information on St.P&P’s children’s ministry information.

 What should I wear?

Our Sunday Gatherings are casual and like a family. And like a family, we are all different. Some people like to dress up, and others are more casual. We're a church for people from all walks of life. Please wear whatever is most comfortable for you.

 What happens on a Sunday?

You will experience a beautiful Anglican service, with a call to worship, scripture, an engaging sermon, beautiful music, confession and communion. We will guide you through the service so there is no need to feel awkward or unsure. You are welcome here.
