Marriage

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” Ephesians 5:31

At St Peter and St Paul's we believe that the institution of marriage is an amazing gift of God, and therefore not lightly entered into. Discernment, conversation, and much prayer is necessary for all those feeling called to Holy Matrimony. The sacred union of husband and wife is a reflection of the way in which Christ is united to His church. With this in mind we believe in the biblical definition of marriage: the union between one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others.

If you are a regular parishioner at St Peter & St Paul's (or related to a family in the parish) and are desiring to be married by our clergy please contact the office for information.
